Someone just sent 2.5 BTC to Satoshi Nakamoto’s wallet
An anonymous sender recently has transferred 2.5 Bitcoin, worth roughly $181,000, to Satoshi Nakamoto’s wallet, gaining massive attention across the crypto community.
The wallet, created at Bitcoin’s launch, famously holds the 50 BTC mining reward from the network’s first block and has remained untouched for years.
Many analysts view the transfer as a symbolic “digital offering” honoring Bitcoin’s origins and its mysterious creator. Others jokingly described it as a Valentine’s gift, a gesture of appreciation for the technology that sparked a trillion-dollar industry.
Interestingly, Satoshi’s net worth currently is around $72 billion, making the unknown figure one of the wealthiest individuals globally.
