Trump Officially Announces Visit to Beijing

President Donald Trump has officially announced that he will visit Beijing for a three-day summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping from November 31 to April 2.

The high-profile meeting, which will discuss complex and multifaceted economic and geopolitical issues, is in the spotlight worldwide.

According to analysts, foreign trade, especially agricultural exports, rare earth elements and semiconductor supplies, is expected to dominate the agenda. A wide range of geopolitical topics, including the war in Ukraine, tensions over Taiwan and the situation with Iran, are also expected to be discussed.

Trump described the visit as “intense and interesting”, while Xi Jinping called for 2026 to be “a year of mutual respect, peace and cooperation”. Trump also announced that he has extended an invitation to Xi Jinping for a state visit to the White House later this year.
