In the future, we won’t have to work
Elon Musk recently unveiled a new and improved version of Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, with the third generation of the robot set to begin production this summer and be available by the end of next year.
Musk said the Optimus will cost around $25,000, and the first models will be able to perform household chores, caregiving, and daily tasks like a human assistant.
He also said that in the future, it will be able to perform more skilled tasks, such as medical procedures, teaching, and office work.
Musk also believes that in the next 10 to 20 years, people will only work if they want to, and the value and need for money will disappear completely. Because robots will create all the goods and services, the cost of their production will be almost free.
