U.S. President Donald Trump announced the launch of a major military operation the day before yesterday aimed at ensuring security in the Strait of Hormuz and stabilizing the global energy market.
The U.S. Department of Defense reported that the operation involves missile destroyer warships, more than 100 combat aircraft, and around 15,000 military personnel.
These forces are working to ensure the safety of oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz and to maintain uninterrupted transit.
Analysts view this move by Trump as a strategic tactic to continue the naval presence in the Strait of Hormuz, maintain economic pressure on Iran, and secure the most favorable conditions for themselves in negotiations.
