Tim Cook to Step Down

Tim Cook officially announced his resignation as Apple CEO on September 1, handing over the role he has held for the past 15 years.

He said he would continue to serve as chairman of the board and focus on international policy and the company’s long-term strategy.

The company’s Chief Hardware Officer, John Ternus, has been appointed as his successor. Analysts consider him the “safest and most suitable” choice for the position, given his high technical knowledge and extensive management experience.

Tim Cook also emphasized that Apple’s innovation continues and said that the company’s future remains “incredible.” Investors have accepted the change as a planned transition by the management team, which has led to calm in the market and Apple’s stock price being relatively stable.
