Xi Jinping will visit Washington, D.C
Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to pay an official visit to Washington, D.C. this September, marking his first state visit to the United States in more than a decade.
Notably, President Donald Trump recently invited Xi Jinping to make a return visit to Washington during the bilateral summit held in Beijing.
According to analysts, the meeting is expected to focus on several key strategic issues that were not fully resolved during the Beijing negotiations, including trade tariffs, semiconductor exports, rare earth supply chains, energy cooperation, and the Taiwan issue.
Interestingly, the two leaders are also expected to meet again at the APEC Summit in Shenzhen this November, as well as at the G20 Summit scheduled to take place in Miami this December.
