Recently, a serious attempted kidnapping involving the wife of crypto millionaire and co-founder of The Sandbox, Sébastien Borget, took place near Paris.
According to reports, one of the suspects disguised himself as a delivery worker and arrived at their home carrying a cardboard box. The moment Borget’s wife opened the door, several other individuals who had been hiding nearby suddenly appeared and attacked her.
The suspects attempted to force her into a vehicle, but her screams alerted neighbors, who came outside and intervened, causing the attackers to flee the scene. Interestingly, two of the suspects reportedly called a taxi to escape but were soon arrested by police. The remaining four suspects are still at large.
This incident has become yet another warning sign highlighting the growing trend of robberies and attacks targeting crypto millionaires.
